Took me about 3 1/2 hours to fully paint. Used a source image of myself taken about a week ago.

New starts, new devIDs first. That's how it rolls.

I constantly find myself having problems around the upper eyebrows, and lips when I try to paint real-life stuff. Drives me crazy, because once I get the lines hard enough, I find a problem and have to repaint over them again and again until they become very soft.

Also, I'm wondering how to give my paintings a bit more texture than what they have. I don't mind the 'smooth' look of the face, but I'd really like to have a bit more.. well, texture.

Any ideas?

I know there's a lot of errors (shadow problems under the lip/by the nose, messed up stress lines on the forehead, etc), but I was getting tired so the end so I just kind of rushed it. >.>
